After two straight weekends of upheaval, college football reaches Halloween with only three undefeated FBS teams remaining: No. 1 Miami, No. 6 Utah and No. 7 UCLA. The latest AP poll has Ohio State up to No. 2, Georgia at No. 3 and Indiana at No. 4, while BYU and Texas Tech both fell after losing their first games last weekend.

There are no ranked teams playing Friday night, so the Top 25 action begins Saturday morning. The two ranked-vs.-ranked games are No. 22 Arizona at No. 13 Texas Tech and No. 17 Florida against No. 3 Georgia, but perhaps the most fascinating game of the night comes in Los Angeles, where No. 2 Ohio State visits USC at the Coliseum.

No. 2 Ohio State at USC

4:30 PM PT (7:30 PM ET) | NBC

This feels like the weekend's marquee game even though USC has fallen out of the rankings.

Ohio State enters 6-1 after surviving Indiana 19-15 two weeks ago. The Buckeyes then had last weekend off, giving them extra time to prepare for their first trip to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum since USC joined the Big Ten.

There is considerable history here. USC leads the all-time series 13-10-1, and Ohio State is only 2-5-1 against the Trojans in Los Angeles. Their last meeting came in the 2017 Cotton Bowl, when Ohio State won 24-7. This time the Trojans arrive unranked, after a 24-7 loss at Wisconsin dropped them out of this week's poll.

USC still brings plenty of offensive firepower. Jayden Maiava has thrown for 2,303 yards, while King Miller has rushed for 603.

For Ohio State, this is exactly the sort of road game that matters in November resume conversations: a traditional power, a hostile environment and a team with enough talent to make one bad quarter expensive.

No. 17 Florida vs. No. 3 Georgia

12:30 PM PT (3:30 PM ET) | ABC | Atlanta

One of college football's great rivalries gets a different backdrop this year.

Rather than Jacksonville, Florida and Georgia meet in Atlanta, with both teams carrying significant SEC implications.

Georgia is 6-1 and has rebounded in the rankings after its shocking home loss to Auburn. The Bulldogs already own a victory over Alabama and now enter a difficult stretch featuring ranked games against Florida, Ole Miss and Missouri.

Florida is 5-2 and has been one of the season's most unpredictable teams. The Gators have beaten ranked opponents but also endured consecutive blowout losses earlier in October before recovering with a huge 27-24 victory at Texas.

This matchup has become much more compelling than it looked a month ago. Georgia is trying to reestablish itself as the SEC's most reliable contender. Florida has an opportunity to add another major win and completely change the trajectory of its season.

No. 22 Arizona at No. 13 Texas Tech

9:00 AM PT (12:00 PM ET) | ESPN

This is the other ranked-vs.-ranked matchup.

Texas Tech's undefeated season ended abruptly last weekend in a 37-24 loss at Cincinnati, where the Red Raiders committed three turnovers and 13 penalties.

Arizona, meanwhile, arrives 6-1 and continues to climb after crushing Iowa State 39-3.

The Big 12 has become remarkably fluid after BYU and Texas Tech both lost last Saturday. Utah now stands alone among the conference's unbeaten teams, meaning the loser here could lose significant ground in the championship race.

For Texas Tech, this is an immediate test of how quickly a contender can respond to its first setback.

No. 5 Notre Dame vs. Navy

9:00 AM PT (12:00 PM ET) | ABC | Foxborough

Notre Dame returns after a week off following its loss at BYU.

The Irish remain 6-1 and still own one of the country's best defenses. Notre Dame is allowing only 13.4 points per game, tied with Ohio State among the nation's leaders.

Navy always changes the equation because preparing for the Midshipmen's option attack requires a completely different defensive approach.

The game is being played at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, giving one of college football's longest-running rivalries another neutral-site setting.

Notre Dame cannot afford another loss if it wants to remain comfortably positioned for the playoff.

No. 25 Wisconsin at Iowa

9:00 AM PT (12:00 PM ET) | FOX

If you like low-scoring Big Ten football, this is your game.

Wisconsin vaulted into the rankings after dominating USC 24-7, holding the Trojans to negative rushing yardage. The victory gave Wisconsin its second Top 25 win of the season.

Iowa just lost a 13-10 heartbreaker at Minnesota on a field goal with three seconds remaining.

The Hawkeyes still rank among the nation's best defenses, allowing roughly 14 points per game.

Expect punts, field position, turnovers and probably very little aesthetic concern for anyone who prefers 45-42 football.

No. 19 SMU at Syracuse

9:00 AM PT (12:00 PM ET) | ESPN2

SMU has quietly built a 6-1 season and climbed into the Top 20 after dismantling Cal 59-20.

The Mustangs continue to position themselves as a serious ACC factor behind Miami and Wake Forest.

Syracuse presents the classic conference-road-game challenge: an indoor environment, a team with nothing to lose and a ranked opponent carrying considerably more pressure.

Auburn at No. 12 Ole Miss

9:45 AM PT (12:45 PM ET) | SEC Network

Ole Miss returns home after its 34-27 loss at Texas.

The Rebels erased a 24-3 deficit and tied that game in the fourth quarter before Texas regained control. Trinidad Chambliss threw three interceptions, including one in the end zone on the final play.

Auburn has already demonstrated its upset potential by going into Athens and beating then-No. 1 Georgia.

That alone should keep Ole Miss' attention.

At 5-2, the Rebels have very little margin left if they want to remain in the playoff conversation.

Minnesota at No. 4 Indiana

12:30 PM PT (3:30 PM ET) | CBS

Indiana survived a classic grinder last week, beating Michigan 13-6 in overtime.

It was an important response after Ohio State ended Indiana's 22-game winning streak the previous Saturday.

Now Minnesota comes to Bloomington carrying momentum of its own. The Gophers just beat ranked Iowa 13-10 and earlier this season reclaimed the Little Brown Jug by beating Michigan.

Indiana's defense has become its foundation, allowing only 12 points per game, second-best nationally among FBS teams.

This could become another uncomfortable afternoon if Minnesota succeeds in slowing the game down.

Arizona State at No. 8 BYU

12:30 PM PT (3:30 PM ET) | FOX

Now we find out how BYU responds.

The Cougars were ranked No. 2 before being stunned 39-31 in double overtime at UCF, one of five unranked-over-ranked upsets last weekend.

BYU remains 6-1 and very much alive in the Big 12 race.

The danger is emotional. The Cougars spent several weeks climbing from outsider to national championship contender and then saw their undefeated season disappear in Orlando.

Arizona State provides an immediate test of whether BYU can reset.

No. 20 Northwestern at Oregon

12:30 PM PT (3:30 PM ET) | Peacock

Northwestern might be the most surprising ranked team in the Big Ten.

The Wildcats are 6-1 and have won four straight, most recently routing Rutgers 42-14.

Now comes a dramatically different assignment: a trip to Autzen Stadium.

Oregon has fallen out of the rankings after an uneven season, but the Ducks remain talented enough to make this one of Northwestern's toughest tests.

A win in Eugene would move the Wildcats from nice October story to legitimate Big Ten contender.

No. 6 Utah at Cincinnati

12:45 PM PT (3:45 PM ET) | ESPN

Utah is now one of only three undefeated teams left in the country.

The Utes survived Houston 21-13 last weekend behind Devon Dampier, who rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns despite throwing two interceptions.

And now they visit the exact place where Texas Tech's undefeated season ended.

Cincinnati beat the Red Raiders 37-24 at Nippert Stadium last Saturday, so Utah certainly cannot view this as a routine road game.

With BYU and Texas Tech now carrying losses, Utah has a tremendous opportunity to seize control of the Big 12 race.

Virginia at No. 14 Wake Forest

12:45 PM PT (3:45 PM ET) | ESPN2

Wake Forest has quietly reached 6-1 and climbed to No. 14.

The Demon Deacons' only loss came at home against Miami in September, and their offense has become increasingly explosive as the season has progressed.

Virginia enters as another dangerous ACC opponent, and this game carries real conference implications with Miami still unbeaten at the top.

Nevada at No. 7 UCLA

1:15 PM PT (4:15 PM ET) | BTN

UCLA is still perfect.

The Bruins are 7-0, joining Miami and Utah as the country's final undefeated teams after last weekend's carnage.

Nevada represents a different kind of challenge: UCLA is expected to win comfortably, so the objective is avoiding the sort of upset that has destroyed contenders almost every Saturday in October.

The Bruins have already survived Oregon and handled Wisconsin and Michigan State. Their biggest opponent this week may simply be complacency.

No. 24 Oklahoma State at Iowa State

4:00 PM PT (7:00 PM ET) | FS1

Oklahoma State returns to the rankings despite having two losses.

The Cowboys have shown explosive offensive ability throughout the season but lost a 35-32 shootout at Houston earlier this month.

Iowa State is coming off an ugly 39-3 loss at Arizona.

For Oklahoma State, the opportunity is to stabilize its season and remain relevant in the crowded Big 12 standings.

No. 1 Miami at North Carolina

4:30 PM PT (7:30 PM ET) | ABC

Miami remains No. 1 and continues to look increasingly comfortable with the target on its back.

The Hurricanes demolished Pittsburgh 52-23 last week. Darian Mensah threw for 387 yards and four touchdowns, while Miami improved to 7-0.

The Hurricanes are the overwhelming No. 1 in the latest AP poll, receiving 59 of 70 first-place votes.

North Carolina is dangerous enough to prevent this from becoming a victory lap, especially on the road.

Every week now brings the same question for Miami: can the Hurricanes keep handling the pressure that comes with being the team everyone wants to knock off?

Mississippi State at No. 11 Texas

4:30 PM PT (7:30 PM ET) | ESPN

Texas may finally have stopped the slide.

After losing back-to-back games to Oklahoma and Florida, the Longhorns beat No. 7 Ole Miss 34-27 last weekend and jumped eight spots in the AP poll to No. 11.

Arch Manning accounted for three touchdowns in the win, including two on the ground.

Texas still has plenty of work ahead. The Longhorns sit 2-2 in SEC play and have five conference games remaining.

Mississippi State has already produced ranked upsets this season, so Texas cannot afford to treat this as a recovery-week formality.

No. 23 Missouri at Arkansas

4:45 PM PT (7:45 PM ET) | SEC Network

Missouri enters 5-2 and is trying to regain the momentum it had after beating Florida and Texas A&M.

The Tigers' remaining SEC schedule is brutal, with Texas, Georgia and Kentucky still ahead after Arkansas.

That makes Fayetteville close to a must-win if Missouri wants to stay relevant in the conference race.

Texas State at No. 20 Boise State

7:00 PM PT (10:00 PM ET) | The CW

Boise State closes the ranked slate at home.

The Broncos are 6-1 and have steadily climbed back into the rankings after their early-season loss to Oregon.

Texas State represents another step in Boise State's push toward a strong postseason position and potentially a conference championship opportunity.

The Halloween Saturday picture

The schedule does not have the sheer number of Top 10 collisions we've seen earlier this month, but it has upset traps everywhere.

Ohio State has to go to the Coliseum. Utah has to visit the same Cincinnati team that just knocked off Texas Tech. Indiana gets a Minnesota team coming off a ranked win. Northwestern goes to Autzen. Miami plays on the road as No. 1.

Then there is Florida-Georgia, the afternoon's only Top 20 matchup and a game that could significantly reshape the SEC race.

October has already eliminated most of college football's perfect teams. Heading into its final Saturday, only Miami, Utah and UCLA remain unbeaten.

Given the way this month has gone, getting all three through Halloween without another surprise would almost qualify as the upset.
